My journey began with a series of personal challenges that shaped who I am today. Diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, I failed my A-levels and had to find my first job as a temp.
But I didn’t let those setbacks define me. I worked hard, stayed resilient, and rose through the ranks, starting my career at Goldman Sachs and the Royal Bank of Scotland—two of the most respected institutions in finance.
In 2010, I founded RDS Capital, a family-owned strategic advisory firm. Through RDS, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with corporations, family offices, and some of the world’s most influential business leaders. My time as a principal at GKAM, a single-family office in London, gave me the opportunity to launch the Financial Times Philanthropy & Global Impact Summit, bringing together thought leaders committed to making a difference
I’ve always believed that innovation is the key to solving the world's biggest challenges. My journey led to me work with the global leading innovators such as the Branson family and the Musk family where I brought the first Tesla to the Royal Family
That belief also led me to co-found Salary Finance with Asesh Sarkar and Dan Cobley, the former MD of Google UK. Salary Finance was built to address a critical issue: financial wellbeing in the workplace. Today, it’s one of the fastest-growing fintech companies globally, recognized by the World Economic Forum, HRH Prince Charles, and others.
Creating impact has always been central to everything I do. That’s why I co-founded the Global Financial Inclusion Alliance alongside Norman Pickavance. Together, we worked with industry leaders like Barclays, Legal & General, and HSBC to address in-work poverty and enable businesses to drive meaningful change. This movement evolved into the Workplace Wellbeing Alliance, a global network of over 560 employers committed to improving mental, physical, and financial wellbeing.
When we focus on wellbeing, we don’t just help people thrive—we unlock their potential to perform at their best. As Chairman of the Milken Institute Young Global Leaders, I’ve been fortunate to work with intellectually curious, philanthropic individuals to drive meaningful discussions. My collaborations with leaders like Kimbal Musk have inspired me to keep challenging the status quo and advocating for solutions that create a better future for all.
My work with the Financial Times allowed me to spearhead initiatives like the FT Family Office Report, FT Innovation in Family Business, and FT Investing for Global Impact, each of which has pushed the boundaries of how we think about finance, innovation, and societal value.
I'm now spending half of my time working with socially-driven initiatives. In 2024, I founded Flourishing Partners, a holding company for social impact businesses and non-profits. Our mission is to leverage our unique expertise and market access to scale impact potential effectively.
To establish a charitable foundation for the world’s most influential people to deliver humanitarian and social philanthropy in a cross-faith, collaborative network with clearly defined goals and targets.
